Countertops can come in a variety of materials. Below is a general overview of the various kinds of products that you can get here with us.
Granite
Granite is a naturally occuring material that is a very popular option for countertops. It is heat resistant and comes in a large variety of beautiful colors and patterns. It does need to be sealed however, most sealants double as a countertop cleaner as well and are very easy to use.
Quartz
Quartz is an engineered product that is made by taking crushed quartz stones and combining it with resin and pigments. By doing this manufactuers are able to create colors and patterns that are more exotic, vibrant and out of the box. It's a popular product to use due to it's color variety and durability.
Marble
Marble is a natural stone that has always been popular for countertops. It's soft colors and flowing patterns are elegant and timeless. Marble is a softer material that we personally recommened to be used in areas that aren't heavily trafficked as it is prone to chipping.
Quartzite
Quartzite is another naturally occuring material that forms when sand-sized quartz grains, also called sandstone, undergo intense heat and pressure deep within the Earth's crust. Quartzite has the look of a marble but is a lot more durable like a granite.
